In the latest news revolving around the massive oil spill in The Gulf, a newly formed tropical storm has caused yet another delay in oil spill clean up. Thousands of workers along the Gulf Coast are being sent home from work this week as a tropical storm looms in the background.
The tropical storm which is currently in the Bahamas is expected to enter the northwest gulf within the next few days. At that time it could intensify to hurricane strength and even if it doesn't it would likely demand a full evacuation of all rigs and boats that are currently in the area.
This could be a disaster for the oil spill relief crews who are trying desperately to clean up the damage caused by BP's massive spill. Though, we along the coast are hoping for the best.
